This Privacy Policy document is applicable to this Site and other web sites on the World Wide Web owned and operated by Universal Peace Centre and its associates (“we” or “us” or “UPC”) unless otherwise indicated. Aggregate information.  Aggregate information means aggregated information from which we have removed individual identities or other personal information, or information that we collect about the Web Site or about a group or category of products, services or customers that does not identify you personally. Information Collected from Website.  We may collect certain information that you voluntarily provide to us when you use our Web Site or the services provided through the Web Site. Information Collected from Mobile Applications or Other Devices.  From time to time, we may make available certain applications for use on mobile devices (each application an “App” and each mobile device a “Device”), portable digital media devices, tablets, phablets, etc. The type of Personal Information we collect will vary by App, but may include both precise and non-precise geo-location information in order to provide you with access to local service, offers and promotions relevant to the App (e.g., coupons for local stores). It is our practice not to store precise information about your location outside of your Device.

Our Cookies. We sometimes utilize “cookie” technology on the Web Sites. Cookies are bits of data downloaded to your computer through your browser when you access your site and stored on your hard drive that contain no personally identifying information but which help enhance your Web-browsing experience. If you do not wish to receive promotional and newsletter emails from us you may click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of those emails.

If you opt-out of promotional or newsletter emails from us, we may continue to send you certain communications such as service announcements and administrative messages, relating to UPC and the Web Site that are necessary to our relationship with you.

If you submit personal information through a form on this Web Site to request information from a third party, choose to otherwise share your Personal Information with a third party such as by sharing stories you read by connecting with social networking services such as Facebook, or click on a link on the Web Site to go to a third party site that may collect information about you, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of, including any marketing or other use of your Personal Information by, those third parties.
